The aim of Physiologia Plantarum is to publish original research that advances our understanding of the primary physiological and molecular mechanisms governing plant development, growth and productivity. The journal welcomes papers on aspects of experimental plant biology ranging from molecular and cell biology, biochemistry and biophysics, to ecophysiology, thereby maintaining contact among the different organizational levels of plant biology.
