Informatica is an international journal with its base in Europe. It publishes peer-reviewed papers from all areas of computer science, informatics and cognitive sciences, with a focus on intelligent systems and software in general.
Informatica publishes several types of papers, including:
- Technical papers reporting novel research
- Overview papers covering a subarea of computer and information science
- Position papers presenting an interesting plausible scientific opinion
- PhD paper describing recent doctoral dissertation on 2 pages
- Student papers.
