THE ELECTRONIC JOURNAL OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES publishes research on Information Systems (IS) and Information Technology innovations in the Global South. Our papers situate contemporary IS trends in a global context, and show how IS are imagined, created and co-created within and for Global South communities.

We welcome submissions on the design, development, implementation, management and evaluation of IS in the Global South. The journal will not consider articles written by authors (whether they are located in a developing country or not) if their research is not contextualised in a developing country.

Our authors and readers include practitioners, academics, researchers and policymakers across the world.
