The journal’s aim is to share high-quality research related to the pathophysiology, as well as clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of specific animal diseases. In particular, Veterinary Quarterly is interested in descriptions of newly recognized diseases as well as important variations within recognized diseases.

Veterinary Quarterly accepts papers related to different animal species including domesticated and non-domesticated food-producing animals, small companion animals, large companion animals, and wildlife.
