The Journal of Chemometrics is dedicated to serving the community of scientists working in the interdisciplinary field of chemometrics by publishing peer-reviewed Original Research Articles on fundamental and applied aspects of chemometrics. Broadly construed, chemometrics is an interdisciplinary field combining experimental design, physical-chemical measurements, multivariate statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and information technology for extracting useful information from data. The Journal also provides a forum for the exchange of information by publishing Short Communications, Book and Computer Software Reviews, information on meetings and other relevant news.
Contributions to the Journal of Chemometrics cover a wide range of different methods such as experimental design, signal processing, and multivariate calibration to exploratory data analysis, pattern recognition, data mining, modeling and simulation. Application of these methods in the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, life sciences, and related disciplines are published in the Journal.
