he Journal of Parasitology is the official peer-reviewed journal of the American Society of Parasitologists (ASP). The journal publishes original research covering helminths, protozoa, and other parasitic organisms and serves scientific professionals in microbiology, immunology, veterinary science, pathology, and public health.
Manuscripts may cover official business of the American Society of Parasitologists (ASP) and results of new, original research, dealing primarily with parasitic animals. Manuscripts are received with the understanding that the research reported was conducted within the animal care and use policy of the ASP (see Submission Guidelines) and according to applicable national laws. All manuscripts will be submitted for peer-review to the Editor, who will assign it to a selected member of the Editorial Review Board, and independent outside review. Membership in the ASP is not a prerequisite for submission.
