The Brazilian Journal of International Politics (RBPI) is a quarterly publication founded in 1958 in Rio de Janeiro by the Brazilian Institute of International Relation (IBRI), a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization with cultural goals. RBPI is the oldest publication specialized in the themes of international agenda and in foreign policy in circulation in Brazil, and one of the most traditional of Latin America, having taken since its beginning a prominent role in the cultural and academic policy in the country.
Transferred to Brasília in 1993, RBPI plays a privileged role in the study of International Relations in general. It issues unpublished scientific papers whose theme is placed in the great area of International Relations, comprising International and Comparative Politics, Foreign Policy Analysis, International Law, History of International Relations and Foreign Policy, and International Political Economy.
