The Journal of Tropical Forest Science is a quarterly journal dedicated to improving our understanding of tropical forestry, an area that has never before attracted so much attention in the conservation of the environment, both globally and in the tropical countries, and the need to manage the tropical forests as sustainable ecosystems. It publishes original articles on current research related to tropical forestry and its associated sciences, including management of tropical forests; development, production and harvesting of forest produce (wood and non-wood); forest botany; physiology; ecology; soils; genetics; protection; conservation; forest mycology; economics; aspects of afforestation and reforestation.
