The Journal of Transdisciplinary Environmental Studies focuses on transdisciplinary environmental studies of relevance to planning and regulation. The target group of the Journal encompasses both academic scholars and practicing professionals. The focus of the journal is on environmental issues, especially articles integrating the natural and social sciences in the field of environmental management and planning. Consequently, we will emphasise theory, methodology, and practical experience in transdisciplinarity relevant to these areas. Subjects for the journal might be: sources of environmental impacts, relative environmental impacts on ecosystems and organisms, environmental regulation, management or governance issues, environmental planning, the working environment, and nature conservation. Environmental management covers issues such as public awareness and participation, communication, innovation, and the role of stakeholders.
